When a caller has called into a Vector and is listening to the main greeting, Is there a way to make the caller listen to the whole main greeting instead of them just selecting opt 1, 2 or 3 prematurely to get someone. I would like to block them if possible. Thanks in advance!!!

Break the main greeting into 2 parts, the first part plays the bulk of the message and the second part tells them to select 1, 2, 3, etc. Programming looks like this:

01 announcement 1234
02 collect 1 digit after announcement 4567

If callers are used to just pressing the digits when the announcement starts, they may hit digits when you are playing the non-bargeable announcement and that digit press can sometimes carry over to the collect step.

After playing the non-bargeable announcement and before the collect step you should "clear" any entry that they may have already tried to make.

Enter the following line before the collect line:

collect ced for none

This clears any digits that "bleed" over from the user pressing digits during the announcement before collecting in the next step.
