VDN > Vector > Route-To

Hello,

I can't seem to figure out which feature to enable for this to work. I have a toll free number pointing to a VDN, which points to a VECTOR that was a route-to command pointing to a station & that station has call-forwarding to a toll free number.

Toll Free Number > VDN 5000 > Vector 5 > Route-To (station 2000) > Station has active Call-Fwd to a toll free number

When the VDN is called internally the call disconnects. If I call the STATION the call forwards to the toll free number. I've even gone as far as entering the toll free number in the ROUTE-TO (918002340987) field but it still does not complete the route if the VDN is dialed.

Have you tried doing a trace on the VDN to see how far it gets? Seeing where it stops may help you figure out the problem.
 
Did you allow the COR in the VDN to dial out ?
 
Below is the results of the "list trace vdn 1555"

After doing the VDN trace I did a "list trace station 5000" and it doesn't get hit from the VDN/Vector. It seems to dead end at the vector.

What setting in the COR would allow the VDN/Vector to route-to an outside line? I have used several COR's in the system but still doesnt seem to work.
 
Oops, I meant to say "list trace station 2000" was never hit when dialing the VDN.
 
Give the VDN the same COR as the station (since the station works) and try again.

No go on the changing of the COR. I've used several COR's on the VDN and none work.

I created a test VDN, Vector & have it setup with the "route-to" to point to my cell phone but it never goes through.
 
Instead of call-forwarding the station to the 2nd toll-free number, make the TFN the remote coverage path. This is what I do when I need to transfer numbers off-site.

The problem is actually on your trunk group.

Cheack your ARS Analysis table to see what route pattern the 2nd toll free number goes out on. Now look at this route pattern to see what trunk group the call goes out on.

Change this trunk group and look for the
Disconnect Supervision - In? y Out? y

Make sure both are set to Y and it'll work.

Are you using ISDN trunks for the inbound & outbound call?

I agree with inerguard - check your ARS. Also, wouldn't it be easier to simply route to that toll-free number straight from the vector?
 
You can create a remote coverage path "ch cov remot 1" ad the 1800 number here.

Build a x ported number and palce that cove path number on it.

Then have the vector point to that number.

You may be dealing with trunk to trunk transfers. This may work for you.
