VCM Cross Compatibility IP400/IP500

- Would anyone know if the specs (EC) on the IP500 modules are the same or better than the *rev 2* VCM modules on the Ip400 series

On the 400series, remote endpoints, remote phones, etc did not require any addition licenses. I recall that on the 500 series/IP500 VCM, just short of the licenses that allows more channels , it will also require a license for endpoint, remote phones, etc.
 
You should not need any license to use IP phones on the IP500. You should be able to use them already in standard mode if I remember it correctly
 
Avaya 46XX & 56XX IP Phones do not require licenses.

The IP500 VCM cards (32 & 64) come with 4 channels and require RFA's for more channels.
