Hello

Looking for some help on a new system I am putting in. The customer wants the one-x mobile app running in voip mode and digital handsets in the office. The customer will have ISDN30 for the lines.

The main question is do I need a VCM card for the mobile users to seize a trunk on the ISDN30? On the knowledge base it says the VCM is used for any IP user and then a Mobile app connects into the Avaya it shows as an IP connection.

Cheers

yes you will need a vcm card as that manages the ip to tdm conversion. Don't forget all voip mode 1xm users will need a power user license as well!!

Thats what i thought. The sales guy has the licenses but not the VCM and was saying i dint need it.

Thank you

He may need some refresher training then [bigsmile]. It definitely needs it as it registers as a SIP extension in voip mode.
