I was driving behind a Honda this morning with a very clever vanity plate. It had the letters LI, followed by the cent symbol, then finished with PL8.

Have you seen any creative vanity plates lately?

First off let me state that I live in MI.
Two of the best plates I have seen:
AWD FTW (it was on a subaru)
OMGSTFU
Having seen that second one, that is still my all time favorite license plate that I have ever seen. I could not stop laughing. I still laugh just thinking about it.

Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding.

I once saw a car parked beside a palm reader's store in rural SE Louisiana. The license plate read I4C4U.

And one that has been widely reported on the internet (though I have not seen it personally) can be found here:

I got behind a car with a plate that said DOOMED once. I let him get far away from me!

Then there was DOM-N-8 and a bumper sticker that indicated that really was a sexual reference. There are times when you can provide too much information! Think of how his co-workers would feel seeing that in the parking lot. If you were a female would you want to be in a meeting alone with this guy?

And who could forget the episode of Seinfeld where Kramer got his plates mixed up with the vanity plates for a proctologist? A$$MAN

I saw one outside the St. Louis County courthouse a couple of years ago:
LITIG 8

and what I hope was a golfer:
MY IXFE

Greg, I'm not a golfer, so I need some help on MY IXFE.

That one took me a second, too.

I saw this one on Snopes.

And following on from Susan's posting, I've seen motorists circumvent the "69" proscription with "LXIX".

My friend's brother has the vanity plate of "XUNIL".
Bet you can guess what his favorite OS flavor is.

On an Accord:

FENRY

Let's see. Linux backwards. (-:
Would that be Windows? [lol]

I heard the "whoosh" as it went over my head. Please cure my density on that one.

Dave...I just did a quick google search on Fenry, as I was wondering too...here's what I found...

In full, Fenry the Honda, Ken Miller's 1980 Honda Accord. In the summer of 1997 it performed like a champ when Ken (Bookrat) devoted his summer vacation to a record-breaking cross-country tour of visits to wordslers.

That begs the question, who or what are the wordslers?

Not a license, but I once saw a license plate frame on a pickup truck that said "Honey Hips" in pink letters. I sped up to see the cutie driving it. Behind the wheel was a huge burly, bearded, hairy-armed, trucker type guy in greasy overalls. Kind of scary actually.

If you want to make your own license plates, you can go here.

I use these on my web site for little signs and buttons.

Acme.com also has a labelmaker that makes Dymo type labels, and a heart maker that makes those little candy Valentines Day hearts with whatever you want to say on them (provided it fits).

All for FREE. FREE is good.

<off-topic>Sam, that reminds of the time I was driving on a highway near Sacramento with some friends. We saw a nice red convertible in the lane next to us. From behind we could see two heads with long flowing locks of blonde hair. Hoping to catch a glimpse of their faces, one friend suggested that I honk my horn. So I did, and we were all disappointed to the see the male driver turn to us with a scowl.</off-topic>
