Saw this on a pickup...
YUG POOH - I had to think about this one for a minute. It's HOOP GUY spelled backwards.

Just saw a little dark gray Lotus Elise with the plate...

EVL RIVA

I almost fell out of the car yesterday when I saw:

SLAM BAM

How did that one ever pass?

OK, I can usually figure them out, but this one has me stumped. I'm sure the heart is an "o", and the "3" is an "E", but that still doesn't clear up the whole meaning...

CV14 WW2

The owner of this license plate must have served on the USS Ticonderoga in the last year of World War II. I have never been as tempted to flag down a car, invite the owner for a cup of coffee and listen to his war stories.

Here are some that deal with children...
On the First Day of School in 1986, the ABC and CBS television affiliates in the San Fransico Bay Area featured our six children at school that day since this was the first time on record (in the Bay Area) that a family had blood-related siblings in each grade of the six grades at an elementary school.

Both stories prominently featured the license plate of our 15-seat Dodge Maxi-van:

On a Chrysler PT Cruiser this afternoon...

Not really what I'd call "Big Foot". Unless it was referring to the driver.

Just saw this on a Mercedes convertible...
LOVETT
This could be the driver's last name (possibly related to Lyle), or an expression of love for something represented by TT - One thought comes to mind, but the driver was female. I suppose that could still work...I'll stop now, before I get into trouble. [bigsmile]

Hi,
Probably, but could also love Tourist Trophy (TT) racing.
