Looks like time to start a new "...Plates" thread (since we're well over 100 on the Vanity Plates III thread).

Here's James Cottingham's last post from the Vanity Plates III thread:

He's just begging for a ticket, right? Well, not while he's driving 5 MPH below the speed limit on the interstate.

Not a lisence plate but we saw this today at lunch and completely cracked up. YOu know how they mark up the windows of cars with just Married or stuff relating to sports events, well this car had written on it several times in big big letters:

Not a word in any language that I know of, but DABLUOX

Saw EZTIGER on a Solara today.
And no, I did not get a look at the driver of the ginormous SUV with DABLUOX.

Haha rj, no, it was Black.
That would have been too easy.
Although it could have just been a dark blue color and seemed black. It was not light out yet.
So I will answer you with a definite maybe.

On a red Ford Mustang, annoyingly under the speed limit: NASA '86'

I would guess it's a reference to the Challenger disaster of Jan. 28, 1986.

On a Mustang it's more likely "National Auto Sport Association".

Driving slowly was probably due to being within a point or two of losing his license (I've been there).

Regarding the "86", could that have been the year of the Mustang?

Thanks Sam. No, the Mustang was a late model body style. Maybe the driver was an '86. [smile] If that's the case, he must really have some points built up - I had a sports car when I was 23, and I never drove that slow!

Re: MYRDBUG

Maybe it's the Tek-Tips context, but besides the obvious, I can also see [red]"Thousand-Year Debug"[/red].

Can anyone here relate?
