ValCom INtercom system through PBX not working

I am running a ValCom intercom system off my PBX. It just went out the other day. when you dial 70 nothing happens where it used to beep then you could talk over the intercom.

any ideas

The ValCom unit probably went bad or lost power.

The Valcom I have has a small fuse, made of cardboard with a thin wire running through it. These blow easy. Check the fuse. Was there any work done that might send a short down the power side.
