The Avaya Technical Presentation for V4.2 states that I need a crossover cable to convert a IP500 BRI port to Sbus.

Can anybody help with the pin-out for the above mentioned crossover cable, and has anybody got the above working on V4.2 beta?????

crossover cable is just blues and oranges switched i think

you can buy them pre made.

I got it sorted in the end..

Blue's & Greens crossed & needed to use an Isdn Balun (mod-tap).

really? weird,

im in the uk, and i was sure its blues and oranges. im either stupid or its different

(cue 30 replies confirming im stupid)

Blue(4&5) and Orange(1&2) is PRI in the UK

Not stupid, just confused!!!!!

HAHA! I think you have made it worse.

Don't ask why I used blue and green and yes I leave out the extra wire as they do nothing.

the bri is different, you can just by a modtap to do the job"

As I said in the third post, I needed to use a crossover cable (blues & greens crossed) and an isdn balun.

I Couldn't get it to work with out using both!!
