Have a client with a ~1-2 yr old IP Office V2 system with 1 exp. mod. I believe - don't quote me - but thought installer back then indicated it was setup in Partner mode?
Ok, all is working no problems. Running v2 rel. 7.0.27.
Installer is now gone.

Have moderate exp. in programming old Partner systems. In the IT field 30+ yrs.
Would like do "minor" programming changes, additions to system myself. Just downloaded/installed Avaya's IP Office Manager Lite on my office machine. Don't have IPO here, but thought I'd see if I could make head/tails over programming (setup off-line install). Fig'ed if possible, I could bring in this Lite ver. to client, install on one of their computers and possibly pull/change the admin config via the LAN from the IPO? Any help here would be appreciated.

My immed. problem: Just purchased a new 1408 phone for them. Installed "fine" - phone works, rings, blah, blah, blah. However, they have 2 diff. sets of co (cable) lines. 2 for one business A, 2 for business B. Naturally, when you pick up the phone, it picks up on the "wrong" set! (business B) I'd like to have this phone (others in office are programmed correctly) auto pick-up on business A's lines when making a call. Also, I'd like Business B lines to *not* ring at all on that phone. Business A lines should ring immed.
Any ideas, or where to read up on this programming?
Thanx so much in advance,
Tim

Tim, please go on a course as it is too much to handle.
There is no manager lite (actually there is but you cnanot download it from the support site (it is a part of the server edition)
I think you talk about phone manager lite.
And that is not for making changes to the config.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

In Manager, copy a user which is setup as desired for the new station, paste that user and change the name and number.
If there is a user with the number equal to the new station then erase that user first.

A simple mind delivers great solutions

Ok, then where do I download the full IPO manager admin software from? The link I found on Avaya's site is a 1.92 GB download! The download keeps aborting - not enough bandwidth!? Using cable ISP - never had a problem. Can someone *pllllllls* give me a direct link for this software?!
Thanx in advance,
Tim

Keep trying, this sometimes happens.
Do you have an SSO account?

If it is in Partner mode just set ALS for whatever lines you want the extension to pick up.

If it is Partner Mode, you can program via the Phone unit at x10 or x11 as you could with Partner ACS. If you are using 1408's, you need to follow the prompts in the screen to make changes. If you have a Partner 18D, you can utilize the same programming procedure codes as you did with a Partner.
