USING GOLDMINE

I am using Goldmine to make outgoing calls. This works fine except that I cannot make any notes in the customer record. It seems that once the call is connected, it locks up the contact. During the conversation, I need to make notes on the customer record. Has anyone come across this? Thank you for your replies.

This should probably become a FAQ.

GoldMine does not supprt TAPI 2 or 3 which means it only supports modem dialers with a phone outlet on them. The idea being the modem dials and then you pick up the phone to talk to the person. Hence the button descriptions in GoldMine.

The long and the short of it is you need a 3rd party software like

to make GoldMine work with TAPI.
