Have a customer stating that one of their users cannot hear his voice mail messages when calling from an outside line. He can hear all of the CallPilot prompts, but when he goes to play the message he just gets dead air. However, when calling from the 7310 in his office, everything works just fine.
Talked to some more seasoned techs at the office and no one has heard of this, nor has an internet search borne any fruit.
Any ideas? My inclination may be some sort of transcoding issue between the BCM, telco, cell carrier and his cell phone.
It's a BCM450. Unsure of the software versions (we upgraded it about 2-3 years ago from a BCM400) - but a cursory glance at the system in Element Manager didn't show any unusual alarms or problems.
