Upgraded to win 2000 prof. yesterday. since the install i could not use my mouse, zip and modem because they are all USB devices and win 2000 did not see my usb hub in which the zip and modem are plugged, and did not see mu mouse which is in the second USB port on my computer. I have tried a few things and in frustration i plugged in a PS2 mouse and after a reboot win 2000 installed everything in my USB hub and installed my mouse. I unplugged the PS2 restarted and everything was gone again. I seems a bit strange to me that i have to have a ps2 mouse plugged in to have control over my USB devices.

Anybody who has had this problems or knows what to do about it?

Have you tried to disable the ps/2 port from you BIOS?
Save & Exit ..
