If you had the foresight to do a Database + Full backup I would suggest un-installing VMPro completely and re-installing V11 using the msi file. Error 1619 is thrown when the installer can't access files it needs to install.
I never try and upgrade VMPro by installing over it, it always seems to cause problems.
Yes, I did Back up the VM folder and call flow. The funny thing is I tried to uninstall the VMPRO and the server would give me the following error. (Install shield Error 1628: Failed to Complete Script-Based Installation)
Before you unzip the Voicemail Pro file, right-click and select Properties
On the General tab at the bottom you will find Security:
"This file cam from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer"
Click the button for Unblock, Apply, OK, THEN unzip and install
According to the VMPro documentation you can only do a two software level upgrade, 9 to 11 for example. If you are at 8 you would have to upgrade to 9 or 10 first before going up to 11.
I was able to get the download Unblocked. The now runs but when it get to the point to check off what you want installed it gives me a message "THERE IS NOT enough space to install these options" And it show on the bottom installer 0.00 MB.
I also tried to uninstall the old version, and I get an error message"1628: Failed to Complete Installation error"
