Upgrading MICS 4.0 to 7.0

Tried an upgrade this evening but programming defaulted after installing MICS 7.0 upgrade tool. Here's is what I did - Powered down system, removed 4.0 software and inserted MICS 4.1 upgrade tool. After rebooting, it said "Insert MICS Card", so I powered the system down, removed the 4.1 upgrade tool and inserted the MICS 7.0 upgrade tool. After system came back up, all the programming was GONE!!. Now, this is the first time I did not use the Ver 2.0 NVRam Cart because I was told by my technicial people you don't have to. I have upgraded 7 other systems using the Ver 2.0 NVRam Cart with no problems.
