Can i make a backup config, and import that to a new BCM? I am outgrowing this little switch, and want to be ready for a migration path.

Thanks

I do not think there is a migration path from BCM50 to BCM450, so I believe the answer will be no.

I hope some of the other technical guys on here will be able to verify this

nope. just like u can't use a 50 bckup on a 400 and vice versa

What about a 200, or 400? My issue is that we planned for a system to use about 35 sets. We planned for mostly digital using a DSM 32. We added a few IP 1140E sets, and the staff really loved them, so we scrapped the Digital sets, and licensed it for a max of 32 IP sets, and only have a few digital sets as left using the internal stations, and we scrapped the expansion unit with the station module. So, to expand no, we can only use Digital, and we want to scale to around 50 IP sets. So a 200 should be good. I need to admin this swap as easy as possible so it appears to be a simple job. Is it possible to end of life my BCM50, and have the licensing transfer over to a new system. My system is a month old.
