I was told that I could upgrade the MICS from 4.1 to 7.1 by powering down the MICS,Powering it up and doing a f**startup , goingand going to applying templete and unplug system, then inserting 7.1 SW and powering back up. It didn't work. Any suggestions?

Waited 45 min , phones just a flashing. I replaced the 4.1 and reprogrammed the system and phones. Will try again another day. Good night.

You did unplug while the display said "applying templete" the reason I say this is because if you wait to long it will load the 4.1 data.

What I found out is the module in the MICS is a 1.0 . I need a 2.0 module in order for the 7.1 upgrade to work.

Well I am back here with a 2.0 and I followed the F** and unpluged the system. Inserted the 2.0 with the 7.1 card. Phones still flash. I have waited 30 min. Anybody have any suggestions?

waited 1 hour, still flashing, any suggestions?

When you say 2.0 Module I think you mean NVRAM Release 2.

Is it truly MICS 7.1 or CICS software that you have?

Try swapping the NVRAM while the 4.1 works then once booted up try the STARTUP again.
