Hello,

We have purchased the license to upgrade IP Office Basic to Essential. What are the steps to perform this upgrade?

I have installed Essential systems from scratch in the past.

Unit is currently Office Partner edition version 9 something.

Thanks for the Help

I am at the site and can update the Version = IP 500 V@ 9.0.2.0 build 860 Basic-Partner

File-Advanced-Change Mode. It should reboot and you will lose all programming. You then need to add the license file to the IP Office configuration when you open it up as IPO mode.

It's best to treat it as a new installation and wipe the existing config. Don't expect or even attempt to retain any of the old configuration (it is possible but leads to hell as a lot of the Basic config settings causes errors or don't work in Essential).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
