Upgrade from 9.1 to 10.1 2

We are going through Upgrade from 9.1 to 10.1 and already have licenses migrated and received .xml file from Avaya.
1. Do we upgrade first and then upload .xml file or
2. Upload .xml file and run upgrade afterwards?

Upgrade then apply the licence as it only takes 10 seconds to apply the licence once upgrade, but is a little more awkward to add before hand.

Or rename it to PLDSkeys.xml and put it on the SD card before the upgrade.

And in which directory on SD card it should be placed to?

with 9.1 you can add it before the upgrade or after
anything lower it has to be done afterwards
