We just upgraded our 3300 to the latest version (8.XX). We also have a Mitel 6510 Voice mail server (version 1.XXX). Aftre the upgrade we noticed that when an ext. is in DND, normally it would go to VM, Now it goes right back to the "main Greeting".

and for our spectralink phones if a user is on them it also does the same. We did put in place a "band aid" chaging all the DND buttons to forward alwasy to the Vm speed dial.

I first thought it was a routing thing but all routing, etc. is correct! any thoughts anybody?? PLEASE HELP..

If we can't then i will have to Dowgrade back to mitel ver. 6 or 7

TY in advance!!!

And when you do this:
---------------------
Please change one of the sets reroute to 1 (which should reroute to nothing (blank).

Then setup Call Forward All to voice mail.

Please make an internal and external call to the set.

What are your findings?

I would really have to see the logs from the Messaging Server to see what it is seeing and why.

The only thing off the top of my head is the MiTAI has changed revisions.

Is this DNIC, ONS or IP integrated - I assume IP....

The strange thing is, a call in from outside is getting to the 6510, just not the mail box. Some where along the line it's not transferring the ext over. Our Phone vend. is still looking into this.. On monday the plan is to downgrade to 6 or 7 until we get it resolved.

What version was the 3300 at before the upgrade?

Check the COS setting "Display Held Call ID on Transfer" on the sets being called; if this is set for "Yes", try changing it to "No"; I've run across this being an issue with NuPoint before, I would assume it would be an issue on 6510 as well.

Before the Upgrade, This 3300 was at 6.xx,. They went to the latest which is 8.0

I wanted to check this out. There was indeed a few MiTAI changes. I would recommending installing the latest 6510 software.

I just did check all of the COS's and it's not fixing.. I'll update this on how we make out tonight. TY ALL!

TheMitelGuy, do you have compatebility matrix in front of you for 8.0?

I have access to it, but it cannot be saved - it's a network read-only file.

So, what's the minimal and recommended version of 6510 for 8.0?
P.S. Everything which can be viewed can be copied :) (Pictures taken from the screen :))

The minimum client application MiTAI version supported in 8.0UR1 is 11.0.6.5, not sure what 6510 release that translates to. This information is available in the 3300 ICP software release notes.

Last night we Downgraded the 3300 to Version 6.1XX. Solved our issue, and now we are stuck til we decide the next step. Upgrade the 6510 or move on.. Thank you all
