Does anyone know of any technical docs/instructions regarding updating the i2002 firmware on the itg....better yet, can anyone tell me how to do it?

I have the .bin file and I can log into the itg via telnet, but that's about it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You use OTM

In the ITG node info - select Config | Synchronize | transmit

check ehterset firmware

use the browse button to find the .bin file and start transmit

you may have to disable card and reset card when done
you will also have to reset all phones (isetReset)

OK

disable in the card in the pbx and refresh the status on the OTM

and then u/l

dont forget to download the latest FW for Phase 1 B76 for Phase 2 D9I

Thanks for the help.

When I try to u/l I get an error:

Download of firmware to card is in progress. Card TN = 20.
File transfer lock is available for this node.
The firmware file transfer was unsuccessful due to invalid firmware file name.
Released the file transfer lock successfully.

The file name is 0604D31.bin, any ideas what may be wrong?

Minimum requirements for Phase II IP Phones:
- Succession 3.0 with IP Line 3.10.81 or Signaling Server 2.10.81
- X11 25.40/25.40B with IP Line 3.05.2
If you are not at these levels, then you will get the "invalid firmware file name".

yep, we will need to upgrade....thanks.

A new issue...since the first time I plugged one of the new phones into the network the older phone, (ntdu76ab), are not able to find the server when they are turned on.

I get a server unreachable error and it reboots. I had this phone working fine, unplugged it to try one of the new phones, and now when I plug it back in it doesn't work.

Could the newer ntdu91bb phones have caused some kind of issue that now won't allow the older models to come up now.

I do have some of the older models that were never unplugged that are working fine, it's just when I unplug one and try to put it back on.
