Problem: An unbound object frame is being stretched and squeezed based on the individual Display Property Settings on PC’s running the DB.
Explanation: I have an Access 2002 system I am developing with linked Word.doc letters that the customer will alter as needed (in WORD) and use to generate mailings from within the DB. Everything works great…from my PC. When my customer tried it out the letters were resized (smaller) and testing has revealed that this occurs when the settings are different (800x600.)
Wrinkle: At least one PC in our department is not affected by this problem. No matter what the settings, the letters print as designed on this PC ( all are XP.)
I was hoping that there might be a way to “lock” the linked object image of the Word.doc to force it to appear and print as desired. I have also asked our system services to look into the matter of the PC inconsistencies.
Any ideas?
Darrell
