Hi,

I wanted to setup CCR 8 and couldnt able to sucessfully implemented.

I have followed the CCR Setup Guide
Accordingly I tried to setup on Windows 2008 R2 64 Bit Server. Also Installed MS SQL Express Server 2012 on Same Server.

Now After Installing SQL Server Express, When im going to setup CCR 8, at the database selection, i cannot see Local\SQLEXPRESS Database to proceed further.

Please let me know how can i proceed and setup CCR 8 on Windows 2008 Server.

-Thanks,
Sam.

ah, apologies Sam, you're on the user side of things giving this a bash. which is all good, but you likely won't have access to things like the install PDF.
Seriously, I did a clean install of win2003 server R2, and did the install process to the tee, and it just worked first time.
Have had plenty of installs go ugly from servers being fiddled with.
updates killing things, having to reinstall things etc.
I'd say give it another go from the top... ticking ALL the boxes....
then it may be good time to get Avaya partner involved. who supplied you with CCR and didn't offer to install it for you too? miserable buggers! ;)

Thanks....
I need to come up with solution.....instead of going to any other local avaya expert..who has not enough knowledge..
But i can go avaya distributor.

-Thanks,
Sam.

Listen to me!!!!
SQL2005 is not supported, SQL2012 is not supported
SQL2008 is supported

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I guess in today's global market, you could employ a reseller offshore via TM etc. forums are dangerous places to advertise tho, the big stick comes out and they turn your user account off! ... best bet chatting to the distributor about who they'd recommend to get it right in your area. they should come onsite, and go through setting up the reports/ training etc properly with you, and handing it over to you.

You'll spend untold hours otherwise. :)

ha, chocolate fireguard.. you northern hemisphereians sitting round the fire! warm flat beer to boot....
