tring to get into bcm 50 using element manager get to the conect part screen shows error happened device component is restarting please wait 5 minutes and try again waited 5 minutes same thing happens,same on customers lan if i use run comand ipconfig comes back with valid ip address for bcm 50 my laptop works fine with other bcm 50 so no problem there any one any solutions?

If you set your IP address manually what is your IP address and subnet on the PC. Something like 10.10.11.2 subnet 255.255.255.252?

Have you had any updates on your laptop?
Is it windows XP the operating system?
Have you confirmed connection to other BCM 50s recently?

Hi Mr Marshall operating system on my laptop is windows 2000,have no problem with other bcm 50,s tried power reset done comand run ip config bcm giving me back a valid ip address 10.10.11.2 but still can not access system just get the previously mentioned error message
The only thing I could suggest is if you have a backup try a level 2 reset.
