Brand new "fixed" version of the UCM module installed yesterday, updated to 8.1-9203.0_el6.
Built out 5 or 6 modules...saved, made live...fun times (did not test yet...).

Open up the vm pro client on the machine and pull down the data...and...its all gone!.

Creating a new module with the same name before, suddenly my stuff is there. Some however did not work; creating the module said "unable to save call flow".

Restarting service / rebooting ucm did not help. This is rather irritating.

Using the VMClient from the appcenter.

Yeah not sure what the issue is/was...
went and deleted the vmdata.mdb from the uc module, seems to be working okay now...how very lame of this thing.

I had a brand new PCS03 unit I upgraded in the office, restored the customers info, gracefully shut down and took it to the site. Installed it, and nothing, just the green flashing light, couldn't get into webcontrol, VM wouldn't answer. Saw the UC module heartbeat failure in SSA. Pressed the reset button and nothing. Pressed it twice more and after the third time it came up and started working. I shut the UC mod and IPO down, fired it back up and all is well. Just didn't want to boot that first time.

The other 4 I've replaced so far went fine. I don't know what this particular module was thinking, but I hope it was just the Avaya Gods messing with me because it was late at night.

I'm not really diggin this UC module. The idea is great, the execution is lacking.

Yeah, we are giving them a wide birth until they have been fixed to such a degree that no such posts appear here for at least 6 months :)
