Okwe have the UC in and working for voicemail and call flows but its not sending emails to 365. We have tested the system using the embedded voicemail and it works prefectly, switch to the VMPro and it fails with incorrect user credentials in the SMTP logs. The weird thing is its the exact same settings as the IP office copy and pasted in to both, I cant understand what I could be doing wrong here?

The 365 account is using a working app password in both sides btw and Ive removed the SMTP settings from the IP office now as well but have tried it both ways.

Also tried with gmail and an app password now and also getting bad passwords?

Can you access the O365 account directly through a web browser? Are there any settings in there that need to be changed?

What version of software is the system running?

The 365 account is fine, as I say it works great on Embedded voicemail. Its running the latest version of 11 as far as I can tell, the one that has a patch available to fix group voicemails failing to go out, this isnt sending any voicemails though so didnt think it was that?

Yes they are both on the latest at the time which was around a month ago.

Tried both and every cobination of settings available!

Can you use a browser to log into the UC module's desktop using port 7070 and 7071 to double check all of the network settings like gateway, DNS, etc.

Thats th emost annoying thing because on the SMTP settings you can run the test and it comes back successful. Anyway the SMTP logs are showing it connecting the the mail servers, 365 or gmail and then failing on authntication which is pretty muchsaying bad username or password even though they are 100% correct.

What about creating a completely new O365 account?
I'm just throwing a bunch of shit against the wall to see if any will stick.

Im using app passwords on both the Gmail acount and the 365, both work fine on Embedded email with the same settings, usernames and passwords, they fail on authentication every time on the UC2 card running VMPro

I think Im going ot need to set up a 365 connector to bypass authentication.. just didnt think I would need to.

If anyone lese has this issue setting up a 365 connector in Exchange works perfectly :)
