TVA200 not responding

Did a search for the term "TVA200" but the search engine showed no returns. Is it broken?

The TVA200 (8 port) to TDA200 has been in service for over a year.

Client calls and can't get into the VM.
I'm onsite and TVA looks fine as does the TDA.

Symptom #1 is that when you call the TVA (group # or directly to each extension) the system answers and says "Thank you for calling" and hangs up.

Symptom #2 is that when veiwing the port status, unplugging the connection to plug 1 makes all the ports on the TVA go offline.

Any suggestions?? I'm at a loss short of a full restore and not sure if it would help.

Um, never mind.
The client had turned on the holiday settings for the 4th of July and pointed the TVA to a CS message that did not exist.
 
I hope you have found that port 1 on a TVA is the control port. The lowest port has to go to port 1.

Check sercurity int the TVA and see if the Accesses are still enabled. If you have a * exit it will hang you up when you try to do the #6*

Also check to see if there are any odd v/mail boxes like 600, 666, if the system has been hacked. The best way to prevent this is change the password, remove outside access from the V/mail ports in the TDA system

The system did not see the Custom Service message (that did not exist) and would just plain hang up!
It was very rude.

i'm suprised that it did not give a canned greeting like the old tvs
