Hi,
Electric company with shut down the electricity in one of my building for couple hours(usually will go longer). I think my battery backup just handle the power upt tp 2 hours. What should i do with the pbx. Can some one give me the command/way for shutting down the PBX. I just want to know what is the best way to do it. It is Option 11c.
Should i disable all the card and turn off the PBX. Please give me some advice.

Thank you very much

With the Option 11C I'm pretty sure you can just kill power with the switch on the power supply. Probably want to do an EDD first. When power comes back on, just flip the switch back, watch it boot up and then make sure everything gets enabled and works correctly.

If it has CallPilot, you need to do a shutdown.

It is an extention from my 81c in the other building. It is connected by fiber optic. If i want to shut it down manually, What LD/Command do i use?

you'll need to disl the loop, it will be a fiber loop, is what i think i read, ld 32 disl xx.. being a fiber remote also means it's not an opt 11, when you build a phone in that cab, do you build it in your 81? if so it's a remote nad the same loop will be the one you need to down. i would also look at the xpe in 97, prt xpe.. and dsxp in 32 as well, if you just kill the power, no harm, but you will get hundreds of errors in the 81.. if it's a stand alone without a aml (mail) power down is just as clean with the switch.
