Saw this in another thread that said

go to Element Mgr go to
Data Services to
DCHP Server
General
and shutoff...

There is no indication of GENERAL there

There is no toggle switch to turn off or on

1 From the Configuration tab, click the Data Services folder to expand it.
2 Select DHCP Server from the Data Services folder.
3 Select the General Settings tab. It is normally selected by default.
Choices are - Determines whether the DHCP server is disabled or enabled. If you want to
enable the DHCP server, you have the following options:
• Enabled - Automatic
• Enabled - IP Phones Only
• Enabled - All Devices

If its not working, get a bigger hammer!

I wish I could send the screen capture. Finally got it.
am using Bus Element Mgr ver 60.3.0
I go to Data Services as always
I go to DHCP Server
In DHCP SERVER there are 3 tabs:

DHCP Settings Subnets IP Terminal DHCP Options

Inside Subnets the headings are:

Subnet Name DHCP Mode Status IP Address Subnet Mask Scope

LAN1 DHCP Server Enabled 192.168.1.56 255.255.255.0 local

If you double click on any of the settings, only Status will open and allow you to select Disabled, ,Enabled- All Devices , Enabled-IP Phones only Enable Automatic

There is a tab in the lower part of the screen, under Details for Subnet Name, that says "General", here you set Ip addresses

The book doesn't say this at all. and neither has anybody on Tek-Tips
