I found a way to make the IP Office have TTI.
There is actually two ways but I will give the one that closely resembles the Definity.
On default, the IP Office has two shortcodes.
*35*N# - Login
*36 - Logoff (This will be your seperation code)
You can use these to mimic TTI. Here is how you do it.
When PRE-Programming a new IP Office, setup your users the way you wish. You can give them a password on the first tab of the user form or you can leave it blank. (I reccommend giving them a password)
NOTE: You can also use this on an exisiting IP Office but you may want to "clean house" first and renumber your extensions to the example below.
This step is important as you will not have to re-number your extensions ever again!! Re-number your extensions like this:
201 (current on new system) TO -> a201 ("a" being the first module and then so on "b" for the second and so on.)
Now, once you have done that, you will NEVER have to manage the extensions again. Cool so far huh?!
Anyway, once you have added all your USERS, you will now start placing phones, once you plug them in, you will see the phone come up with "NoUser" and a relating port number. Like a201. (Which you pre-programmed as above)
You can now "TTI" the phone into service by doing the following:
(If user has no password set) *35*<user number>#
(If user has password) *35*<user number>*<password>#
The phone should now be in service.
To take the phone out of service, just dial *36.
that is it! I hope this is helpful for the ones who have not yet discovered it.
Cheers!
