Hi guys
I have a user with a phone (IP 35G) and I want to send every digit that this subscriber dials directly to an analog trunk (without dialing the prefix).
I have currently assigned a prefix to use the analog trunk and using the hotline, immediately after off hook the phone, the prefix is dialed and then all digits are sent to the analog trunk without this prefix.
But this situation works correctly until the subscriber first hangs up or presses the speaker key and then starts dialing.
If the subscriber dials directly (without hanging up or pressing the speaker), there are two problems:
1- With the first digit he dials, the speaker is automatically activated and the digits are also sent, but the first digit is ignored! Why?
2- Also in this case the dialed numbers are not displayed on the screen and only the first digit (the one that was ignored) is displayed.
-Is there a solution to these problems?
-Is there no solution other than a hot line to send numbers directly to an analog trunk?

your system is 4000 or OSBiz?and also your ip 35g work in HFA mode or SIP?

You have done it the way I would have tried it, I probably would have used 99-Z for this. What you are describing sounds almost like a bug. Is the phone firmware the last version released? Also of course STMI version might be causing something.

There are two parameters that make HFA phones collect digits like SIP phones and then send in one string. Maybe they have an effect on this issue but be aware these are system wide parameters.

CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=OPTISET,EDITDIAL=?;
CHA-ZAND:TYPE=ALLDATA,SIPDIAL=?;

Edit dial allows you to step back through the entered number but needs the OK button to dial. SIP dial will dial on a time out.

I don't know if the phone has the latest firmware or not
My phone information is: V3 R0.23.3 HFA 150806
I couldn't find the parameters EDITDIA & SIPDIAL in zand

Sorry I made a typo both are zande. But they came in V6, so should be in V7 unless you have a really early version maybe.

"-Is there no solution other than a hot line to send numbers directly to an analog trunk?"

It might be worth a try -
It may be that the HOTLN will not dial out directly but it will dial an extension so
add 99 as a float number and forward it to the desired destination and test

hi Moriendi
i fond this
CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=OPTISET,EDITDIAL=NO;
CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=ALLDATA,SIPDIAL=NO;

I changed them :
{CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=OPTISET,EDITDIAL=NO;
CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=ALLDATA,SIPDIAL=YES;}
In this case Nothing happens and like before, the first number is ignored and only the first digit is displayed on the display.

{CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=OPTISET,EDITDIAL=YES;
CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=ALLDATA,SIPDIAL=YES;}
In this case, the message Not Possible is displayed and I am not able to dial

{CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=OPTISET,EDITDIAL=YES;
CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=ALLDATA,SIPDIAL=NO;}
In this case, by pressing the first digit, dialing does not start and all digits are visible on the screen. But after the last number, when I press the OK button or the speaker, the dialed numbers are ignored and I hear the dial tone and , if I dial a number, the call is established, but no dialed number is visible on the screen befor establish call.
If I first press the speaker button and dial, the call is established as in the first case and the numbers are also visible on the screen after the prefix.

hi sbcsu
I didn't understand well. Could you please explain it to me?
Do you mean that by picking up my phone, I will be connected to another subscriber through the hotline , and that subscriber will be forwarded to my prefix (99) ?

Yes, have you tried that ?
hi and thanks for your replay
yes -But the problem is not solved
Maybe I could not explain the problem correctly
If the analog trunk prefix is set as the hotline rout;
If the subscriber first presses the speaker button or picks up the phone and then dials, all the digits after the prefix are sent and the call is connected.
--The problem is that if the subscriber does not press the speaker button and dials directly, the first digit is lost. I think this is because when the first digit is dialed, the phone simultaneously picks up the hotline and the first digit is sent, and the system is unable to recognize the two digits at the same time.
Unless there is a solution for the phone or system to make the speaker active after pressing the first digit , and then dialed digits are sent after a certain period of time.
Now in your solution , the problem of the first digit and the start of dialing the hotline still exists and the first digit is ignored again.

I think this is a bug, an unintended consequence of the hotline feature where the phone isn’t really off-hooked for dialling. It would need test on latest software. You will get no support on V7.

But I think this is not a defect
In normal mode, the ability to connect by pressing the first digit of the telephone line is pleasant for the subscriber.
The hotline also has a special function and works as we want (start dialing immediately after picking up the phone)
But the problem with their synchronization is that when we dial the first number, the telephone line also synchronizes and the two interfere with each other.
But it is strange to me why in dial mode there is no ability to delay sending digits after line seizure , neither in the phone nor in the PBX.
Regarding the Sipdial parameter that you mentioned, is there no prerequisite for doing so?

Remove some parameters in COP
CHA-COP:COPDEL,8,EOD&SFRM&BR64&TDED;
Make a trial dial of the number.
To return the deleted parameters, do
