I cannot change any settings in the menu for Energy saving schedules in the control panel. The settings are grayed out and says that some settings are done by the system administrator.

What I can recall I have'nt changed anything in my GP´s on my server.

Question is now, either to remove the settings in the GP, or configure Windows to not use that particular GP at all.

Anyone knows what to do?

Regards

Ben

Have you looked at powercfg /? from an Elevated Command Prompt?

How to use Powercfg.exe in Windows Server 2003

This will set security back to the defaults, including Group Policy. Use the Vista instructions for Windows 7.
