Trouble Installing Software

Hello,

This is a copy of a post I submitted to the MacroMedia ColdFusion forum. To me, it seems equally appropriate here.

I am running Win 2000 Pro (on a recently reformatted hard drive) and am logged on as an Administrator. I am unable to install two applications. These applications are Macromedia ColdFusion Server 4.5.1 or ColdFusion Server 4.5 Single User. At the point of "Updating Registry Settings" the install program hangs. I have reformatted and reinstalled Win 2000 Pro twice now.

I have managed to install these programs off these disks (same OS) in the past.

Any help would be appreciated! I'm tired of making sandwiches eight hours a day.
