I am wondering if anyone knows how we can transfer calls between several, up to 6, IP500 systems?

The current setup is that we have all IP500 systems with just the upgrade Standard to Professional license. We have embedded voicemail and we are using 4412/4424 digital phones. They are all emulating a key system in that we have all Loop start analog trunks coming into the modules fitted in the control unit. All of the systems are on our existing network for administration purposes only right now. Do we need more licenses, voice compression modules or is this not even possible since we are not using IP phones? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need VCM cards in all.
Enough channels (4 default)
you need networking channels( licensed)
you then need to set up SCN which means unique dialplan on every system.

This sounds a lot more involved than I thougtht. Do you know what the specific name of the license is?
Each location currently has redundant extension numbers so those would all have to be changed? Couldn't you fix problem with a short code to tell the system which location your dialing?
thanks again for the info.

Redundant extension numbers ?
Yes you can use shortcodes instead of building a SCN (beter in my eyes) but then again unique dail plan !

I just meant that all the locations where we have the IP500 sytems have the same extension numbers. They are not unique from site to site.
