a 3904 set with dn 3444 transfer acall to another 3904 set with DN 3445 and release , if no answer from 3445 is it possible to get back the call to originate 3444??
 
if the station if fdn back to the original station. the way we handle that is the person parks the call. then voice icm's the station.. if that person can park pickup then they get the call.. if not the called party will get that call back.. this only happens when that call has to be handled, med facility

Usually, once a call is transferred, it is gone from that phone. The call is now at the mercy of the receiving phone and will follow whatever is programmed on that phone (usually transfer to voicemail on no answer) However, most voicemail systems do allow you to dial 0 (zero) and the exension that you want to revert back to.
