Hi There, I Have a IP Office 500 V2 that has an intermittent transfer problem. when the switchboard operator is busy on a call and another call comes in she cant seem to transfer the first call. when she press the transfer key it dont do anything, the call just remains by her. She have to then put the first call on hold, take the second call and transfer it then take back the first call then transfer it. Now this does not happen all the time. other times she is able to transfer the first call no problem. I have added more Call appearance buttons and even Reserved the last call Appearance button (RESERVE_LAST_CA= ) and still nothing. I now have upgraded the software to 8.1(63), and the problem is still there. FYI... they have over 500 directory speed dial that affected the speed of the Manager tool. can this cause a problem?
can anyone help me please?
thnk you.

Avaya recently made it so that even if you have no more CA keys left you can still transfer, sounds like a bug relating to that as even without that improvement the RESERVE_LAST_CA= should work.... [ponder]

I assume you actually ticked the reserve last CA box..... as oppose to making the "RESERVE_LAST_CA=" entry in source numbers :)

Hi guys, yes i did tick the Reserve last CA box.[smile]
Can it be that there are to many short codes and directory speed dials? The Admin tool is dead slow unless i untick the validation and validate my changes once i send my info to the system. can it not cause the processor to have a delayed reaction on the transfer key?[hammer]
