Hi

I have played around with ip office a little but am still new to the whole telephany thing so bare with me.

I have an analog phone that is pluged into the back of a pc and then into the switch. The user then uses the pc to dial a number and speak to someone...this all works fine however what i want to do now is alow the user to transfer the call somewhere else.
1. Is this posible using an analog phone?
2. If it is then i presume i need to send some code through the phone to switch. Does anyone know what this code is?

Cheers,

Hugh

With an analog phone you press the "R" button and the extension number you want to transfer to. To compelet the transfer you hang up.

if the phone has a flash button, that puts the call on hold. you can then place another call, if 1st still on hold, it will transfer to the number you dialed if you hang up.
