Transfer button not working 1

Running an IP Office system at home (don't laugh) and for some reason I can not the transfer button to work on the 5610s or 1608s but it does work on the one 1616 phone I have.

Pressing the Transfer button does nothing on the phone, other than making a beep, but looking on Monitor it does recognise that Feature Key 4 has been pressed.

Running 5.0(26) firmware.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated because I can't for the life of me figure it out.

Transfer requires an open call appearance button (not line appearance) to work. If the phone only has one, a call cannot be transferred.

My attitude is fine and I was very appreciative of the solution. Thanks so much for the advice.
 
Thats new for me, is it tested and verified? Must be only on the 9.x versions as before that you needed to have Call Waiting enabled.
