I have a customer that pulls daily reports from an old school printer / TTY port. The system is a CS1K release 7.6. I have to think there has to a better way of doing this. Anyone know of a program that will communicate with the switch and have some GUI interface?

They are primarily looking at console stats. In LD 2 reports 3,4 and 7 are on.

I'll be following this, since I need to learn more about reporting.

I was looking for some console information as I have been asked how many calls are going to the console by dialing "0". Is there a document to help interpret this output.

Code:
>ld 2
TFC000
invc 0 3
1015 TFC003

000
  00360 00068
  00002 00730
  00019 01062

There is a guide accessible on the Avaya web site.

There are a number of programs, depending on what results you want will determine the best program.

Have you thought about sending this to a PC with an emulator running instead of the printer then possibly paste the results in to XL and sort as needed? I am not a PC techie, but I would like to think it would be easy to write a program to do this for you automatically

Yes that is what I am trying to do. I know there has to be a application that can take the raw data from the PBX and input that into a PC based application. However I have been unable to find one.
