Hi Gurus,

I have requirement to create filters/prompts for the user to select Top N/Bottom N records on the selected measures from drop down.

Scenario: I have 13 measures, Client Name and Employee Name in crosstab
User will enter values for Fiscal Year/Period.

Requirement is:
1. User wanted to Enter value to see the records (Enter 10 to view 10 records)
2. Select TopN and Bottom N records to display (ALL should be included in the list to select)
3. Select measure to see the TopN/Bottom N records (All should be included in the list to select)

Data Sources: Crystal reports 2013 on HANA/BEX query

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Thanks,
Jothi

Any suggestions pls???

Thanks,
Jothi

I have not used Top N much. But it appears you can at least set the N number with a formula which could be a prompt. The only way I think you could get either top or bottom is to have sub-reports (one for top, one for bottom, and a third for all). I believe I have created dynamic grouping before (need it for the top/bottom n to work), but it has been a long time ago.

Just some thoughts, not sure if any of this will work for you.
