Hi,i need your expertice once again, the problem is somebdy broke in the phone system to make international calls(norstar plus ics)and this is not the first time,so,the question is HOW TO STOP OR WHAT TO DO TO AVOID POTENCIAL TOLL FRAUD ISSUES!any sugestion will be appreciated.THANKS

Restrict the VM DN from dialing out. I would also make sure DISA is disabled if they are not using it.

-Restrict Oversea calls (at least vmail ports), setup COS password to overrride.
-Setup non trivial passwords and 6-8 digits in length for mailboxes including G.D. and S.M boxes.
-Turn off DISA or make non trivial passwords.
-For NAM's and Call Pilots there are Toll Fraud patches at Nortel that should be installed.
-Delete all unused mailboxes-Turn off External Intialization.
-Turn off Outdial on mailboxes except for those whom need
-Disable Redirect under sets except for those whom need.

yes,i will do that tomorrow.THANKS

As you said this isn't the first time that's happened, you might want to install an SMDR on the system. It could help you track down the bum that's hacking you.

The more information you can give the police, the better they can help you.

Also let your carrier know if you do not use 1010 codes.
