TN750C and TN2501 question 1

Hi all,

I would like to use the announcement boards from an old system in a new one, with all the recordings on it. Is it enought to pull out these cards from the old system and put them in the new one? (Should all the announcements show up in "change announcements" field, or I need to import some translations as well?) I know about the TN750C problem with lack of backup, it should be migrated to TN2501 sometimes)
The new system is CM4.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated

Why not upgrade to Val boards. Its so easy...

Upgrade to VAL boards should be another project.
Now I would like to know what do I need to make the cards work in the new system.
Anybody could help?

Normal back up is to use a flsh card to back up the announcement and then restore it.
Just removeing tn750c and adding it to a new system will not work. However, I did took a tn750c from a old system and use "change announcements" to programe the same name and slot on the new system and they worked. (important, name and slot have to be the same.)

Altough I need to use different slot (different cabinet number) because of a MCC1-G650 migration. Sometimes somehow I should try whether it is working with typing in different slot numbers in "change announcements".
