Here's the definition for this message:

TMDI0201 x appl
TMDI x sent a message to the Meridian 1 indicating an application data
space
has been corrupted. Where: x = device number (LD 17 DNUM) and appl =
the
application name.

Severity: Info

I would disable the TMDI card, then force a download of the firmware.

You will need to disable any D-Channnel on the card in LD 96, then Disable the Loop in LD 60, then return to LD 96 and disable the card (DIS TMDI 5), then enable the card and force a download (ENL TMDI 5 FDL). Wait for the operation to complete, then go back to LD 60 and enable the loop. If the D-Channel does not respond in a reasonable amount of time, you may need to manually enable the D-Channel in LD 96.

Or you can just do a dis tmdi 5 all in LD 96 or 48 and then force download it, disable it, then enable it. This will usually clear up any issues. The loop and dch should establish on their own after this procedure.

There is no DCH on Card 5. I was under the impression that my issue was with card 4 (which is the backup DCH).. as 00000011 converts to 4 in LD 32 conv.

Am I way off? Or is this a problem with card 5, which has no DCH.. and a FDL should resolve the issue with that card?

Thanks Buddy, how do you print the dchannel's? What load would I use? (how would I know if card 4 id dch 5?)

Buddy, Card 4 has backup DCH 16, there is no card 5.

Thanks...

So, like I say.. I have no DCH 5.. 15, 16 and 17..

Card 3 is DCH 15, primary DCH
Card 4 is DCH 16, backup DCH
Card 9 is DCH 17, primary DCH (different provider).

I am trying to pinpoint which TMDI is giving me the error.. TMDI201 5 00000011

Originally I figured it was card 5, but after reading a few threads I was lead to believe it may be 4 (00000011 converts to 4).

The error is pointing to card 5. If there is no D-channel, then that's great.

Disable the loop associated with that card (or run the risk of dropping active calls), disable the card, then re-enable with the FDL option.

Thanks for the help. FDL cleared it all up.

Any idea what would cause this? Do I need to worry about an underlying problem?

Other than the annoying screen filling error, what problems could this cause in the switch? Only asking out of curiousity...

In my experience, bouncing a TMDI card and doing a FDL when enabling will clear up 99% of these types of problems (non-carrier related).

I have sites with anywhere from 1 to 13 TMDI's and I may have to do this once year (That is across all sites, not per site).
