Two questions:

1.I have a TM system for a customer and recently the client has gotten very slow, almost to slow to make any changes with. The customer is running windows 7 and the TM is version 3.10.28.41. The server is still snappy when making a change on it, did Microsoft change something in a recent patch that would cause performance issues between the two?

2. I wanted to put a Service Update on their TM server. The instructions in the SU require a backup before hand, but I can't find the proper way to do this. I can't find any docs online on Avaya's site. I was wanting to install SU 3102841SUb. What is the recommended way to make sure I can recover from a disaster?

Thanks!

Drew

I don't profess to be a TM fan but you will find backups are selected from the front end/navigator drop down 'Utilities' menu with a selection of types of backup including 'Full' if required
it'll place this in appropriate folder/drive selected

Note all services must be shut down ie scheduler etc before proceeding

Cheers!!

First thing i would do is move the TM 3.1 off of Windows 7. Try putting it on Windows Server 2003.

TM is on a XP Windows server. My client is browsing to TM on a Win7 computer. Sorry for the confusion.
