TLS for remote phones only with an ASBC

Hello all,

I have a question about TLS encryption on an IPO 500vr R11.1.1.0 build 18 system. We have a customer using an ABSCE for remote phones, desktop and mobile apps only. I was wondering if you can have TLS only on the remote devices connected to the ABSCE and not the local phones? The ABSCE is not running through a firewall. Any assistance is greatly appreciated

Looks good if URL rewrite is enabled. And you have to remove the other 46xxsettings.txt entry.

On my app, I am getting VoIP Phone Service Unavailable. I do not see it trying to grab the /rwsettings.txt here

To test, I added this to the reverse proxy:

I then configured the app using web address rather than my email:

https://fqdn/rwsettings.txt

Lets me log in, never get the green check mark.

I do however see it getting to rwsettings.txt

Should I have TLS Disabled on the IPO? I would assume so as the 46xxsettings.txt is auto generated.

derfloh: Appreciate the help. Not looking like this is going to work with their current configuration with one of the LAN Ports taken up by the SIP Trunk.
