This feature used to work in 3.2 and lower.

We cannot get it to work with 5.0 or 8.1 (the release I have in my office and the release on cust site)

Has anyone tried this feature on 8.1 yet? and got it to work?

from the 8.1 help

· t - Allowed Call Duration
Set the maximum duration in minutes for a call plus or minus a minute. Follow the character with the number of minutes in brackets, for example t(5)

It hasnt changed.

Did you put the Nt(X) in the Telephone number part and not in the Code part?

Hairlesssupportmonkey,

I know it has not changed. I put the code in a release 3.52 as 8XXX | Dial Extn | 8Nt(1) | 0 to limit calls to extn 8XXX to one minute.
I put the same code in a 500 with 5.0(8) and 8.1(67) and it does not work.
I was wondering if anyone has actually got it to work in a newer release.

This is how the code is entered.
8XXX | Dial Extn | 8Nt(1) | 0
Code | feature | Tel No.| Line grp ID

My bad, I found out something new.

The short code works if you call an extension from an extension using the short code.

It does not work if the call is from the outside and the call is transferred using the short code.
