Does anyone know of a fix for the DST update.

I have manager set to check the pool.ntp.org but it did not update.

I have the DST ticked and my region is correct and I had to set the hours at -8:00 to manually fix it.

Thanks

Maybe your DNS settings are not working...?
Use System Status to ping that URL.
If all packets get lost, it's either a DNS problem or a routing problem.
From your PC, ping that URL. It will resolve the IP address. Now try to ping that same IP address using SSA.
If now it can reach it without loosing packets, then it's a DNS problem. Try to ping your DNS servers from SSA.
If you can't reach your DNS servers then that's the culprit.
Try all the above and let us know.
Cheers

Goto SSA and check the time sync.
Left plane: ressources / time

Thx you. The DNS is ok. The SSA died she that the NYP was able to poll OK but returns the wrong time.

I noticed the Time Zone dates are out of date

are you using auto dst? are the tables updated through 2024?

"Hello, you just have to change the dates by replacing 2023 with 2025 and 2024 with 2026 with the correct dates and that's it, you don't have to change anything else."

It only goes up to 2023.

Update as stated in the previous message by @Rhinorhino .
Have you done so, already?
If you want to have the DST for WebManager, you have specific instructions for that. Updating Manager on your PC won't suffice. You will need to update WebManager DST xml too.

Thank you I really appreciate it. I will follow the instructions and post the update on fix.

Then you may need to add some new entries and to do that you may have to delete some of the expired ones.

No need to add them manually if he applies the patch mentioned a couple of posts above.

Sorry had to

If you still had to add those dates manually, then you either didn't use the patch mentioned a couple of posts ago, or something went wrong when you patched your system.
If you patch both your computer and the PBX, new dates will be available until 2030 or 2033. Can't recall which.
If you patch your computer but you don't patch the PBX, those new dates will only be available in Manager. If you open the WebManager it will still have the old dates.

I have the same issue on all my sites and I followed the link to Avaya signed into their site and they will not let me DL the patch. I also went to

but the patch has not been uploaded yet.

Any suggestions where to get the patch for 9.0 and 9.1?

Thanks!

@comfortinntechci.com

No idea if they are going to make the critical patch available for 9.x, but I think the TimeZoneInfo.7z is a simple XML file.
If you download that 7z file and decompress it and you put the TimeZoneInfo.xml file in the right path on your computer (the path where Manager has been installed) then you will be able to use the new dates up until 2033 IIRC.

Please bear in mind that, after extracting the TimeZoneInfo.7z to Manager's path, the new dates only become available if you follow the right procedure described in the very end of page 1 of the PSN pdf mentioned above in this thread.
