I have jus gotten into developing a pattern matching application. I intend to do it with Regular Expressions. Can u gimme some tips/leads/examples on building regular expressions ?

Thank u Kris.
1. Any idea if the contents of a PDF file can be read programmatically?
2. Can the font attributes of the contents of Word Doc or PDF file be identified ? I know the contents of the file can b read using the various objects in the .Net framework. But is there some facility to identify the font?
