Test AA & CCR via ATA?

I want to test my AA and CCR before enabling it on the lines.
I have an ATA on a station port and the analog side connected to an unused trunk (line 003). The AA answers line 003 and I can hear my menu prompts.
From my stations sets I can't transmit the tones necessary to navigate thought the CCR.
Any thoughts?

after the call is answered dial feature 808 to get long tones then the voicemail will get the tones

Is there a setting to make that the standard at least for the set i'm testing from? or will I have to hit Fr808 each time?
