Terminal Server screen going BLACK

I am having an issue, sometimes clients using TS, say that their screen goes black, and it doesnt recover. No icons, nothgin just a black screen with the mouse arrow.
Any ideas??

That usually means they lost connection.

I get this all the time when I am connecting through a firewall to get to access a server via TS. If your firewall connection is set to close after a certain amount of time you will get this until you re-authenticated to the f/w..

Which is exactly what dberg is attesting to.. a lost connection

Is this when they first connect or once they are logged in?

Hi,

This can also be caused by MTU issues.

Are you connecting over a VPN tunnel or just internet?

We started seeing this with the new client. If a user is connected and minimized, when you try to remote control their screen it goes black. Only way to recover is to log them off the server.
